Online ordering & Payment

Once you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail or text message. Your order will be processed within 2-4 business days, Mon-Fri. Order processing time may be extended during high-volume promotions or events, and on National Holidays and could take 4-8 business days to process.

Our customers will experience slightly longer processing times during major holidays (Memorial Day, Black Friday, etc) due to peak order volume and warehouse closures on national holidays.

During our annual inventory in January, orders will be paused until complete. Orders from 12/28/2023 to 1/7/2024 will resume processing on 1/8/2024. Thank you for your patience & understanding.

Once your order is shipped, you will automatically receive an e-mail with your shipment's tracking number.

You can pay by VISA,MASTERCARD, AMEX, DISCOVER, JCB, KLARNA and DINERS CLUB or with a HomeWorx electronic gift card.

You will be billed immediately upon purchase on Credit and Debit cards not when your order is fulfilled. Please refer to our Shipping & Returns tab for more information.

Yes, we do! Visit GIFT CARDS to choose from multiple denominations. Gift cards are the perfect gift for a loved one!

At this time, electronic gift cards are emailed to the purchaser, not the recipient. We are working on getting this feature available in the near future.

There are several reasons why your promo code may not be working. The promo code may have been associated with a limited time offer that has expired or could simply have been entered incorrectly.

Discounted price points- During these offers where each item is marked to a new price, you may combine with additional discounts at checkout. Additional discounts include affiliates codes, loyalty redemptions & one-time use promotional codes. One code can be applied per order.

BOGO deals- During BOGO offers on our website, customers will not be able to stack additional discounts to their order. This includes affiliate codes, loyalty redemptions & one-time use promotional codes.

Customers must add the correct number of items to their cart for the BOGO offer to apply. For example, you must add 3 items to your cart for a Buy 2, Get 1 free deal. The least expensive item in your cart will be reduced.

Sitewide Offers- During our sitewide promotions, customers will be able to take advantage of a percent off on all product categories available on our website. Customers will not be able to stack additional discounts to their order during these promotions. This includes affiliate codes, loyalty redemptions & one-time use promotional codes.

If a HomeWorx product is visible on our site as "Out of Stock," it is likely we will replenish this item at some point. We cannot provide specific dates on when the particular item will be returning.

It is not promised that a specific fragrance will come back once sold out, so make sure you purchase as soon as possible to avoid missing out!

If you cannot find the product you are looking for, it may be sold out. We often reintroduce fragrances throughout the season, but there is no guarantee. Keep up with our product offerings by following our different retailers: QVC and Ulta. You may be pleasantly surprised what you find!

All orders are subject to approval by HomeWorx. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse to accept any order placed based on incorrect pricing, stock availability, or fraudulent activity. We apologize for any inconvenience a canceled order may cause, but it is at the discretion of the brand to proceed with order fulfillment.

Shipping & returns

Once an order is submitted to our fulfillment center, it can take up to two (2)-four (4) business days for our fulfillment center to process, pack, and ship orders. During peak season, orders will take up to four (4)-four to (8) business days to process. All orders are shipped from our fulfillment center in New Jersey. Orders will be shipped to residential and business addresses via FedEx Monday through Friday, except on major holidays and/or during periods of excessive heat during the summer season. Please note that we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes at this time. Here are the estimated shipping times by area:

1-2-days for Eastern States (New England, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast)

2-3 days for Central States (Midwest and Gulf Coast)

3-5 days for Mountain and Western States

7+ days for Alaska and Hawaii

Shipping Fees 

The HomeWorx website will offer various shipping promotions for our customers to take advantage of during certain events. Our everyday, most common shipping charge is $6.99 for all orders.

At this time, HomeWorx does not ship outside of the United States. We are working on providing the option of international orders in the future.

Due to the nature of our fragile products, we have integrated with the Route Protection service to insure your purchase. If you choose to remove Route Package Protection, you accept that HomeWorx is not liable for your items that are lost, stolen or damaged in transit. If you opt-in and pay the service fee for Route protection, your order will be accommodated for Lost, Stolen or Damaged orders.

Please ensure to snap a photo showing the item's label as well as the damaged area of all damaged goods. In order to receive a replacement, photos are required of ALL damaged items.

Route Protect is a package protection solution that helps cover you in the event that your order gets lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit. When Should I File a Claim?

Marked As Delivered (Stolen)

Claims will be reviewed no earlier than 5 calendar days and no later than 15 calendar days from when it was marked delivered Please note, orders over $100 USD will require a police report to be filed by the customer before any resolution can occur 

Stuck In Transit (Lost)

For domestic orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 7 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 60 days from the order dateFor international orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 20 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 60 days from the order date

Damaged

Claims for damaged items require photos of the packaging and item(s) and must be filed no later than 15 calendar days from when it was marked delivered.

 

How Does Route Process Refunds or Reorders? 

Refunds: When refunding an item, Route covers the subtotal of the order. Shipping costs, taxes, and the Route premium are not included.

Reorders: Route will reorder the items, depending on in-stock availability. Unavailable items will be refunded. Route will cover the cost of any reorders including shipping, taxes, and Route Shipping Protection.

discounts & promotions

You can view our entire discount policy along with FAQs on our HomeWorx Discount Policy Page. Multiple discount codes do not stack together. Only one promo code is available for use per order and that use of promo code denotes knowledge and acceptance of related terms and conditions.

A rewards code, of any denomination, may be redeemed on any purchase of $40 or more. Rewards codes cannot be stacked with additional discounts and are not valid during site wide automatic discount offers such as BOGO deals, spend & save deals, etc. Your rewards code can be redeemed in your cart or at checkout. 

Only 1 (one) rewards code can be redeemed on an order of $40 or more. Please ensure that you redeem the highest value possible to maximize your redemption.

Rewards codes will always apply to orders with full price items or "sale" items with strikethrough pricing. Exclusions do apply for rewards codes during BOGO or specific site-wide promotions.

Our scented candle wax formula is a proprietary trade secret and, as such, we do not publicly disclose a list of the ingredients.

We primarily use a food-grade paraffin wax base in all of our scented candles. Depending on the specific scent we are developing, we will occasionally mix in other commonly known FDA-approved ingredients to optimize burn and fragrance diffusion. Our scented candle wax formulas have been developed and refined over decades by the industry’s leading chemists and master perfumers in order to hold and disperse a high content of fine fragrance oil and ensure that each and every candle burns cleanly and evenly when used and maintained properly.


While many fragrances incorporate the use of some natural ingredients, there are many more synthetic materials available on a perfumer’s palette, allowing the perfumer more creative freedom to develop a unique and memorable scent. Synthetic fragrances are much stronger, longer lasting, and more complex than all-natural fragrances, as well as being just as safe to use. Synthetic fragrances are also easier to manufacture as their components are much more consistent when produced, whereas natural ingredients can produce unpredictable results, just as anything in nature would.

No. The minuscule amount of soot produced by a candle is the natural byproduct of incomplete combustion. Candle soot is composed primarily of elemental carbon particles and is similar to the soot given off by kitchen toasters and cooking oils.
